Corundum refractory castable is high-performance refractory material primarily composed of corundum (α-Al₂O₃) as the main raw material, offering ultra-high refractoriness, exceptional mechanical strength, and superior resistance to chemical and thermal erosion. They are widely used as linings for industrial furnaces in steel, glass, ceramics, and cement industries. ·Ultra-high refractoriness: Withstands extreme temperatures up to 1800°C due to corundum’s Al₂O₃ content ≥95% and stable crystal structure. Ideal for prolonged high-temperature operations in oxidizing/reducing atmospheres. ·Exceptional mechanical strength: High cold crushing strength (≥60 MPa) and flexural strength to endure heavy mechanical loads and thermal shock. ·Erosion resistance: Resists chemical attack from acidic/alkaline slags, molten metals, and alkali vapors.
